Free Online Live Consultations

Following the great feedback last summer from the free seminar, the most useful aspect people found was the question and answer sessions with myself.  I have since been exploring ways in which I could extend this and be able to reach out to a lot more people.  Currently due to my schedule further seminars can not be planned for at least six months.

However I am looking to offer a free online live consultation to anyone who wishes.  The technology to achieve this is still being looked in to.  However it should not take very long to implement.

I hope to offer some dates and times for which people can then book themselves on and then at the set time for us both to come online and begin the free consulation.

It is an exciting venture and by offering this for free, I hope I can assist those who may not normally be able to access life improvement consultations.  More news will be posted soon.

Moleskine type notebooks for writing lists

I am often asked if I do any lists at the moment and what materials in particular I use, such as the paper and pen, as well as my preferable place to write lists.  The answer is that I yes I do continue to write lists although these are normally done in short monthly breaks and usually the list is for someone who has requested some help with a particular problem.  It is possible to use lists to help others and this I gladly do.

Paper, Moleskine type notebooks for lists.

I have experimented a lot with using different materials on which to write lists on.  I know many of you use A4size paper at around 80gsm which does work very well.  I know others have use notebooks.  For myself I now only use a notebook to write my lists.  I have found that it helps my concentration to keep a dedicated notebook for writing lists and the quality of the notebook used also provides a strong signal to the universe that this is a sacred work.
I did come upon the famous Moleskine brand of notebooks, but in trials I found the pen I used did not seem to work well with the paper.  However very soon I happened to see a notebook on sale at a supermarket called ASDA.

This notebook was called an executive A5 notebook, with a nice soft leather feel cover, elasticated band and bookmark.  I purchased one for the price of £2.50 and tried it.  The pages were square lined, and quite smooth and thick, with a creamy yellow tinge to the pages.  My pen took the pages very well and I have purchased a few more to keep in stock as I have found that this supermarket can sometimes completely change or end stock lines (in fact yesterday there were none on the shelf).
As compared to moleskine notebooks people will this very usable for writing lists, and the price is very reasonable.  I chose upon the A5 format because the place where I write lists lends itself to this size, but there is an A4 version available (but again hard to find stocks of them).
If you are a plain A4 page user -I would suggest to try out notebooks when writing lists to see how you get along with them.
If anyone would like to try them and find difficulty in getting hold of them then I am happy to post them on to anyone (you would need to cover any postage costs). Get in touch via np@mrdee.net.

Japan Earthquake

A short post today to request everyone who is doing Lists to also spend a minute before you start a list to send out a positive healing thought out to all those affected by the Japan earthquake.

I also will be spending a lot of my time for the next few weeks doing all I can do to help those affected.  This will mean a delay to the Vedic Store site and subsequently the ability to begin taking any orders for genuine Yantra.  I hope everyone remains patient until I am in a position to complete everything that needs to be done before orders for genuine yantra can be taken.

Thank you.

Genuine Yantra soon to be available

I had a huge response to last years posting about Yantra and I was encouraged to find a way of offering a service to create genuine Yantra's.

For the past few months I have been working hard on this and I am now confident that I have found a way to make this a possibility.  I can now report that the final touches are now being made to the website from which people will be able to order these Yantra's.

These Yantra' will take from one to three months to produce since these will be made according to traditional methods based on the purchaser's astrological data.  Stock levels will be changed depending on the numbers of orders received.  Due to the small team who will be making these yantra, they will only be able to handle small orders at a time.  I will begin with 4 stock levels in total across the range and then reduce stock to zero to prevent further orders being taken.  This will be monitored to see how the team manage and I will increase or decrease stock accordingly.

The team that I have put together are genuine families who have a long tradition of making yantra's, or have been involved in traditional metal working as well as within the science of vedic knowledge.  Please do not contact me for advance orders.  For fairness the website will be posted and everyone will have the same chance to place an order.

Finding Time to do everything you want to do...

A common question that has been put to me many times in regard to the lists is; 'where will I find the time to do them?'.

Well I have found that this does not apply to doing lists but to many things in life-many think they do not have enough time to do the things they want to do.  If they want to do something new or different then they feel that they need to stop doing something else.  We feel we are bound by time, that we only have a limited time to do everything in one day.  But for many people there is a solution that has worked for many people and it at first seems a simple idea- which it is.  But it is an idea that many people will give up on because there is some effort involved.  But I assure you- try it for a month and you will be amazed.

So what is this great idea?  Well the idea is to wake up one hour earlier than your normal time.  This extra hour is yours to do lists, or work on your hobby or dream.  The morning is the perfect time as your body will have rested and eager to get going.  Prepare a simple breakfast and you are giving your mind and body the best start.

It is not easy to wakeup early- and I have struggled on some days but you will be amazed at how your body will get used to the rhythm of waking so that even on weekends where you may have woken very late- these days as well you will feel the need to wake earlier than normal.  So even on weekends you will have gained extra time.  Now you may ask about evenings and why not just go to bed later to gain an extra hour?  Well the evening is the time when your body is starting to wind down and you do not want to involve yourself in any activity.  So why not just go bed that little bit earlier when otherwise you would be doing nothing of any value or benefit?

My technique to wake up early is to program a radio alarm to come on at low volume- and then later the real buzzer alarm will go off.  But most time I have woken a few minutes before the buzzer is set to go off and I will turn it off and be out of bed.  Another technique is to visualise a great big clock just before you go to bed.  On this huge clock visualise it showing you the time at which you want to wakeup.  It really works-your body will set itself to get ready to wakeup at the visualised time.

So what will you do with YOUR extra time?

New Year resolutions and a promise to yourself

As the year draws to a close, many people will be thinking about new years resolutions. Before you think about new ones consider the ones you made last year- how many of those did you keep? This will provide a clue as to how well you may do in the coming year with any new resolutions you make.

I would like to suggest a new resolution that may well assist you in making sure your other resolutions are kept. This resolution is to simple make sure you follow one list from the book. You can choose any one- but make sure you complete it and that you do it with full attention. That’s it? I hear you ask. That’s it, and it appears simple enough but you will be surprised to hear from the number of people who have had difficulty in getting started, who have started but have stopped. This can be for a number of reasons, and is also probably the reason why you have not been able to keep other resolutions or promises to yourself. I will mention one main reason and that is what I call the self-saboteur. The self-saboteur is yourself and what happens is that your subconscious mind will do everything it can to protect you- be they real or imagined threats. These imagined threats can be your memories and experiences in life(most often childhood). You may have unconsciously created certain beliefs which lead to imagined problems that may occur from change. Why do corporations spend billions every year in courses around change? It is because change is a major issue for everyone, and most of the time we all have a fear of change. So when you are for example working towards losing weight you may be self-sabotaging yourself because of a subconscious belief that there may be threats to self if you should lose weight. For example you may have beliefs about what thin people are like, or the groups thin people hang around this- and this can be scary and thus threatening to the subconscious and so it does all it can to steer you away from achieving your goal of getting thin or losing weight.

So you see it is not easy to work towards change, but my book will assist in breaking negative energy with regard to a goal. By the way if your goal is to lose weight –you must look at my latest book called Mind Your Weight as well the Brainwave CD of the same name.
